LABORATORY

“As you know, I am currently on the Mars base and you, the whole EMEteam, are on an identical replica that Indra has built on the island of Lanzarote. The only difference between you and me is what we can see out the window./span>

I want to be very clear with you when I tell you about the specific need that this challenge poses for us: We need to succeed in generating energy with Silica Aerogel in less than one month. At Indra, we are used to getting out of our comfort zone and building different and innovative solutions. I am confident that our team will be able to rise to the occasion.

We want to be very effective in this mission. To do so, we are going to start prioritising tasks; I propose that we split into two teams. The difference is that the laboratory team will work on altering the composition of Aerogel with other “substances”; and the greenhouse team’s process will be less intrusive, observing the material with environmental variations.

As I trust in your ability to work together with all your colleagues, and that you are all going to “build” in the same direction, I will let you pick the teams as you wish.”
